We had a total of 8 anglers participate during the annual outing July 8-15. Water levels were about 12-18″ lower than in 2016 with water temps ranging from 67-74 for most of the time there. We had 2 days of rain/wind conditions which limited the time on the water. The group encountered anywhere from 15-25 muskies daily but they just would not eat on a regular basis. We took time out on Saturday, July 8, to honor Dave Schober on the spot where he caught his 50″ muskie. We placed a memorial cross with two bucktails (one black and one pink) hanging from it on the shore between two rocks and buried part of his ashes along side. Video was shot to share with Deb and the girls at a future date. The trip in 2018 is scheduled for July 7 to July 14. We have reserved 12 spots at this time (but can take more on a first come basis) with 6-8 spots reserved already. Deposit is $100. Pricing for the trip will be known later this year and will be posted.
