    Blake,

Thanks for all the hard work getting this going!

Can you please explain how we go about attaching photos and other stuff on our posts?

How do we revise or correct posts? I noticed a mistake in the post above and I won’t be able to sleep until “out” is changed to “our”. No idea what a BBCode is let alone how to use it.

Also, when I click the “To Forum List” I get directed to log in even though I am already logged in.

I’ll see if I can enable editing of posts/replies for everyone. Will have to test some settings out to see what I can do. I don’t really know how the BBCode stuff works either, but I’m in the middle of getting something in place that should let you edit and upload images. Might be done before the meeting, but we’ll see what kind of time I have to work on it this afternoon.

Clicking the “To Forum List” is a known issue that’s also being worked on. Either use your back button or go back to the Forum page for now. I’ll let you all know when that has been resolved.

    Thank you for the feedback!

There is a setting to change how long editing is allowed after a post is made. It was set to 5 minutes by default. I changed it to 24 hours…hopefully that’s enough to catch a typo and fix it? I can maybe bump that up if needed. I wouldn’t mind turning this off, but I don’t see a way to do that at the moment.

The new plugin is now installed that will allow attachments to posts. There are quite a few configuration options for this, so it might change a bit over the next day or two as I figure it out. Want to be sure it’s the most user friendly we can before I post specifics on how to use it. Editing content of replies should show up for everyone now and hopefully is straight forward to use. Let me know if there are questions either way! Thanks!

Looks like Tim figured out adding images. This is still something we’re working on, so you might see changes as we get it in a solid place where we like how it operates.

So, there are currently 2 ways to attach images or files on a post. One is to use the “Attachments” functionality that’s below the area where you type your post. It allows you to select something from your computer and it will work kind of like an attachment on an email.

What Tim did in the Fishing Reports section is used the “Add Media” button (blue button that should show above the area where you type your post). This opens tools at the very bottom of the screen (all the way below the footer) where you can upload a picture, video, etc. and embed it directly into your post. After clicking the blue button, you’ll have to find the link for “Upload Files” that will show the “Select Files” button.

This isn’t overly intuitive, so I’m looking at settings to try and see what other options we have to make it easier to use. Feel free to use either option above for now and let me know if you have issues. Just keep in mind that this might all change eventually.
