THE FOX RIVER VALLEY CHAPTER PROUDLY PRESENTS

    KEVIN PISHKE

    WEDNESDAY MAY 13TH, 2020

    AT THE SCHAUMBURG GOLF CLUB

    Kevin@layinalineguideservice.com

Capt. Kevin Pischke of Lay in a Line Guide Service a Green Bay native will be sharing some of his proven philosophies, tactics and tools to successfully chase Green Bay’s trophy musky. He will touch on both trolling and casting as well as breaking down the areas and seasonal timeline.
Like most anglers Kevin started fishing at a very young age. Growing up fishing for perch on Green Bay, northern pike on the Branch River and bass & panfish on small local lakes. His first trip to Vilas County was at the age of eight. Fishing for bass and walleye on Star & Escanaba Lakes with his Father, to this day Vilas County is still his favorite area to fish. Fast forward to 1999 Kevin found himself fishing on the Fox River when he hooked into and landed the ‘accidental’ musky. The musky bug had struck and the next thirteen years would have Kevin honing his skills with countless hours on the water, reading anything musky related he could get his hands on and attending as many seminars as possible. Many of those hours on the water were spent pursuing musky on Green Bay and the Fox River. To further improve himself Kevin spent endless hours fishing with Vilas County Musky Guide the late Dick Bouchonville. Studying under a guide with 50 plus years’ experience not only taught Kevin the finer points of musky fishing but what it took to be a successful guide. In 2010 Kevin obtained his Coast Guard Operators License allowing Kevin to guide on Green Bay and the Fox River. Kevin is now on his 10th season guiding on Green Bay with 18 years of total experience on his Home-Town water. Kevin is a former officer of the TitleTown – Packerland M.I. Chapter, a Field Editor with MUSKIE Magazine and also a contributor to Musky Hunter Magazine. Kevin is also a Lieutenant with the Green Bay Metro Fire Department and enjoys spending his off time on the water with his wife and son.
