Any updates on what Musky Strain will be stocked in the Fox Chain for 2019? And where and when will the stocking take place. Thanks

Sorry I didn’t see this post! I have around $8,400 for stocking this year. $5,000 for the Chain which will be put in most likely at Musky Tales Launch in Setember or October. I have placed an order with Gollen Bait and Fish Farm in Wisconsin, these are Wisconsin native strain fingerlings. Last year we paid $11.25 per fish, might be the same this year or maybe a quarter more. Which should be approximaetly 444 fish. The DNR told me they will be putting in another 2,000 this year.

The other $2,400 we are trying to put into Long Lake. But having a hard time with the Homeowners Association that is still work in progress.

And we gave Chicagoland Musky Hunters $1,000 at the Banquet to help with their efforts to stock Leech Lake Strain Muskies in Lake Geneva.

That’s great news for the Fox Chain. Who voted on stocking long lake?

The Homeowners Association on Long Lake reached out to us and asked if we would help them. Presented to the Board Members, voted on and passed 100%. This will give us another musky lake to fish in Northern Illinois besides the Fox Chain.
